Enrique Díaz

Economist (Pontificia Universidad Catolica of Peru), with PhD studies in Economics (Cornell University).  Mr. Díaz has been Deputy Superintendent of the Private Pension Funds System (AFP), CEO and Chairman of CONASEV (Peruvian Security Exchanges Commission), Superintendent of SUNAT (Peruvian Tax Authority), as well as Deputy General Manager of the Peruvian Central Bank.  He has over 20 years of international experience on capital markets, pension funds and financial systems and lectures on capital markets, macroeconomic and monetary policy. He also contributes to magazines and newspapers, on a regular basis, with articles on his filed of expertise. In the ILD, Mr. Diaz has led the organisation´s projects on formalization and capitalization of assets of the poor, both in Egypt and Tanzania.
