De Soto attends First Euromoney Housing Finance Conference on “A house for every citizen – turning vision into reality”

Mr. de Soto visited Riyadh, Saudi Arabia between 15 and 17 January 2007 to attend the First Euromoney Housing Finance Conference: “A house for every citizen – turning vision into reality”

The event was attended by important government official including:

• HE Dr. Ibrahim Abdulaziz bin Abdulah Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance
• HE Khalid M. Algosaibi, Minister of Economy and Planning
• HE Dr Abdulmohsin bin Abdulaziz Al-Akkas, Minister of Social Affairs
• HE Mr. Iyad bin Amin Madani, Minister of Culture & Information.

In addition to these officials, there were people representing the private sector and the international community.
