In June 2001, the Center for International Private Enterprise of the US Chamber of Commerce reported to the Board of the National Endowment for Democracy that ILD's projects ranked number one of the 700 projects they funded worldwide over the last 17 years. The ranking was based on actual impacts and results achieved.
